Purchase Flow
1. Buyer searches for products and places an order at sellkorea.com: search for and evaluate an item, communicate with Seller, and then add to cart.
2. Buyer makes payment, which SellKorea will hold until Buyer authorizes its release to Seller.
3. Seller delivers package. When the payment is confirmed, Buyer will get tracking information.
4. Buyer receives package and checks quality and quantity of item(s).
5. Buyer completes order and gives feedback and product review; payment is released to Seller.

Forget my email address
You can Contact Customer Service Center in case you forget your email address, please provide us as much information as possible. For example, your order number, your nickname and so on.
Sometimes, we may phone you to double check or may ask the applicant for some personal information such as the proof of your billing address. Please understand that is because we need to make sure the applicant is the real SellKorea account holder. Please be assured that your SellKorea account is well- protected by SellKorea.
Change my contact email address
The registered email and the nickname is your identification and valid account name to SellKorea, so you are unable to change it.
But you can change your contact email address and nickname in your SellKorea account.
Register as a seller on SellKorea
At the moment, we do not provide seller services for users who are not in Korea. We are considering extending this service to sellkorea.com in future, however, so please keep checking!

If you're looking for a specific item, Search is the better option.
Use the Search box at the top of any SellKorea page. To find a Women's Clothing, for example, use the search phrase "Women's Dress & Suits". Narrow your search by adding brand names or other features such as "Orange" or "best selling".
Find items through categories
If you're not sure what you're looking for, or if you just want to scroll through an item listing, browsing is the better option. When you browse on SellKorea, you can click through categories and lists of items, exploring as you go, until you find something you're interested in.
Contact the seller
If you want to know more detail about the product or your orders, you can chat with your sellers directly if they are online or leave a message to them.

To reply a seller's message, please sign in "My SellKorea" and find the link "Messages" . Click on "From Seller" and you will be able to see all messages from sellers:

Contact other customer
SellKorea Forum is a communication center for all buyers, where you can find things like SellKorea announcements, latest promotions, product and industry trends, and site help. If you want to get help from or exchange opinions with other buyers, you can post your requirements in relative sections. For inquiry, please go to Marketplace section; for functional questions, please go to site help (Q&A) . You can share your views with other buyers, If you are a VIP, you will have priority to enter VIP Cafes to find more privileges especially for VIP buyers.
Is it safe if I send my personal information to you?
Please note that all the information required will only be used for verification purposes and will be kept with strict confidentiality. All the documents you send can only be read by authorized people in the Safety Center and will be permanently deleted once we confirm everything is correct.
You can send the information to us by the link we gave in the email within 3 days, or send it directly to the following email: help@sellkorea.com. Generally speaking, we’ll process your payment verification within 24 hours upon receipt of your reply to our email.
Don't pay directly to the seller's account
If you receive proposals from the sellers to complete transactions directly with him instead of via sellkorea.com, we advise you no to obey, but report it to us as soon as possible.
If you accept the seller’s proposal, you will not be entitled to our SellKorea Buyer Protection. If the items you receive are not what you expected, or if they fail to arrive, SellKorea cannot help you get a replacement or refund. With our Buyer Protection, the payment is not released until we are sure that you are satisfied with your purchase.
Pending payment verification:
SellKorea has received the payment for the orders whose status show as “Pending payment verification”. However as a website providing SellKorea Service Pledge, we are striving to make SellKorea be a safe platform for both buyer and seller. To ensure the security of each transaction, we sometimes have to verify the payment details with our buyers. After we verify your information, the seller will be informed to proceed with the shipment.
If I refuse to send my personal information as required for the verification, how will you deal with my orders?
We totally understand your concerns. But please understand that we are striving to make SellKorea be a safe platform for both buyer and seller by doing this. Anyway, if you still prefer not to provide us with requested information, we will make refund for you and you may pay for your future orders on SellKorea via West Union, Bank Transfer or Global Collect. Anyway, to ensure that your orders paid via Credit Card can go smoothly, we strongly recommend that you provide the information as required.
Track my package
SellKorea has updated its system for you to check your orders’ logistics information online. After the seller has dispatched your order and provided the tracking number, you can sign into your account to directly track the delivery details through the “Order Detail” page. The item- tracking system works for the following shipping methods:
- EMS
- UPS
- DHL
- FedEx
- TNT
What should I do if the seller provides an invalid tracking number?
The seller is responsible for providing you with a tracking number for your order after it has been shipped. The tracking information will appear on the shipping carrier’s website after 5\7\10 business days, depending on the shipping carrier that was used.
If you have not received the tracking information from the seller, then please contact the seller and ask him/her to contact the shipping company in order to obtain the tracking information. If the seller does not respond to your request or provide you with the correct tracking number, you can then open a dispute on sellkorea.com.
To open a dispute on sellkorea.com, please Sign in to "My SellKorea". Once you have signed in, click on “Orders” to reveal the drop-down menu list, then click on "Active Orders" and select "Shipped". You will then see a list of all your shipped items. Now click "Return & Refund" and choose "Invalid tracking number" as the reason. Please see illustrated below:
Understanding Customs & Import Taxes
SellKorea's sellers don't add taxes, VAT, or other hidden charges. You pay us what you see on the order screen, i.e. goods subtotal + shipping cost.
HOWEVER - In most countries, you have to pay taxes or duties on imported goods. Sometimes goods under a certain value, or in certain categories, do not incur taxes.
The rules are different in every country. Unfortunately there is no way for our sellers to know the rules, regulations, customs, traditions, practices, loopholes, schemes, systems, paperwork, codes, laws, or rulings of every single country.
Therefore, we cannot, and will not, offer advice about taxes in your country. As the buyer, it is your responsibility to find out that information before you order.
If you have to pay import taxes and/or additional duties and sales taxes, then you would have to pay that to the courier upon receipt of the package(s). We can't calculate this for you and there is no way to pre-pay it. If you are drop-shipping or sending a gift item to someone, please make sure they are aware of the possibility of having to pay taxes when receiving the goods.
Please find out as much as you can about your import taxes in your own country before completing your order. If you find out information about the import tax situation in your country, and you believe there are ways to minimize the taxes you have to pay (or eliminate the taxes altogether), just tell the seller what you need by putting instructions (regarding labeling, packing, declarations, invoices, etc.) in the comments field during checkout. Our sellers are more than happy to follow your instructions.
If my parcel is seized by Customs what should i do?
If the items are detained by Customs after the shipment has left the seller’s country, the buyer is responsible for clearance of the detained items. It is the buyer's responsibility for any Customs duty fees that may be charged upon delivery. How the import duty will be charged depends on each country’s custom policies.
If your items can not be cleared at Customs, you need to provide SellKorea with the letter authorized by customs stating why they have been seized. These refer to cases in which the packages are held in detention at your Customs. The dispatching party should be responsible for providing evidence to explain the detention.
Case 1: If the item is held in detention at the dispatching party’s Customs, SellKorea should make a full refund to the buyer.
Case 2: If Customs proves that the detention happens because the item is prohibited or a replica subject to a fine, SellKorea should make a full refund to the buyer.
Case 3: If no written certification is provided by Customs about the detention, the goods are deemed to be en route and SellKorea should handle the case based under the context that the shipping information is incomplete.
How do I complete an order to release the payment?
If the item received is different from the product description, please request a Return & Refund as soon as possible. This way, SellKorea can hold your payment until you and the seller solve the problem. For more details to apply "Return & Refund", you can click here.
If you are satisfied with the merchandise, please visit "My SellKorea" and click the "Order Has Been Received" button so that we can release the payment to the seller. You are also expected to leave feedback for each order. Please note that you cannot request a Return & Refund after clicking "Item Has Been Received".
Why I cannot demand SellKorea send money back to my assigned account?
In order to ensure the security of refunds, we must return the money to the same account which you used to pay for the order. If you'd like change the refund account, we can only deposit the refund to your PayPal account. We have no access to change to your assigned account.
When can I get/receive my refund?
Your refund will be deposited into one of the accounts listed below based on your payment method:
• Visa/MasterCard/AE/Discover: Processing takes approximately 3 to 7 business days (refund credited to your credit card account)
Credit Card:
If you cannot get your refund after 3-7 business days, you can contact your issuing bank to check for a refund record from Korea.
I refused the parcel, why I did not get the refund?
If you do not want the goods on your own reason, you need to pay the returning shipping cost and sending postage, and when seller received the goods we will refund you.
How can I get a refund if my card is not exist/ expired?
If you paid with a credit card, the money will be refunded to your card. To secure the safety of your account, we can't refund to other cards.
If your original card is not valid or if it has expired, please contact your credit card issuer for more information. Normally they receive the money on your behalf and transfer it to your available bank account.
Why the bank charge me processing fee?
Even though SellKorea Buyer Protection is free for all our buyers, the following costs are not covered:
1. Currency conversion fees charged by your credit card issuer.
2. Credit card transaction fees.
3. Floating exchange rates.

Why I get money not much as representative promised?
1. If you used coupon when placing the order, the refund will be coupon first, and then will refund the rest to your account. The coupon can be used again if they were in the valid period.
2. The charging fee is different from different bank, please check whether your bank will charge you or not when refunding.
Seller did not send my item, why I can’t cancel the order?
If the seller did not ship out your item to you, and provided a tracking number, our system will automatically provide you with a full refund, and there will be no need to manually cancel your order.
If the seller ships out your items to you, and submitted the tracking number in our system but untraceable, you can open a “return and refund” dispute after 10 days from the date the seller submitted the tracking number. If no solution reached between you and the seller, you can request SellKorea mediation and SellKorea will involve and investigate the dispute.
I don’t need the order anymore, but the seller insists sending the parcel out. How can I cancel the order?
If you want to cancel the order before processing time, please open a “return and refund” dispute after 10 days from the date the seller submitted the tracking number. If no solution reached between you and the seller, you can request SellKorea mediation and SellKorea will involve and investigate the dispute.
If you want to cancel the order after the seller shipped the items, we suggest you communicate with the seller about the outcome. If you refused to sign the parcel directly, we will keep the shipping and returning fees for the seller and refund you the rest.
How do I cancel an unpaid order?
If payment for your order has not yet been made, you may cancel you order by clicking “Cancel Order”, which is located next to the order number.
Please note that if payment for your order is not made within 10 days, our system will automatically cancel your order.
However, if you have attempted to make a payment (via credit card, bank transfer, etc.), and the payment did not go through, there will be a 30-day grace period before the order is automatically cancelled by our system.
Open a dispute as “Receive well but need to return”
“Received well but need to return” can be chosen for a dispute only if the goods have a guarantee.
Example: The guarantee of the product is 7 days, the package was delivered on Sep 01, then the buyer can select “Received well but need to return” between Sep 01 to Sep 07.
If seller does not have a guarantee, the dispute with reason “Receive well but need to return” are not allowed to be opened.
Return for full refund
Return for full refund, buyer needs to provide video or picture as evidence, dispute representative will verify due to your evidence.
Some of merchant cannot provide a shipping label for you, if seller’s responsible to pay postage, you need to prepay. Then provide the shipping document and receipt to us, we will refund shipping fee to your PayPal account after seller got parcel.
